Dealing with

BREAKOUTS?

This is going to be some little steps that ACTUALLY works for me and I am going to be that big sister Y’ALL NEED!

1. Maintain a Consistent Skincare Routine

Cleansing: See babe, I say that you change your skincare routine or shuffle it cause your skin changes but in case of the days you break out I insist you to stay consistent!

Use a gentle, non-comedogenic cleanser twice a day to remove dirt, oil, and makeup without stripping your skin.

2. Exfoliate Regularly

Chemical Exfoliants: Use products containing salicylic acid (BHA) or glycolic acid (AHA) to exfoliate dead skin cells and prevent clogged pores. Trust me you will feel so much lighter and a lot fresher that before.

3. Use Targeted Treatments

Spot Treatments: Apply treatments with benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid directly on breakouts. That helps a lot in not leaving after breakout marks like they normally do!

4. Moisturize

Non-comedogenic Moisturizers: Hydrate your skin without clogging pores. MAKE SURE THAT ITS ‘NON-COMEDOGENIC’. Even oily and acne-prone skin needs moisture.

5. Incorporate Retinoids

Retinoids: Help to prevent clogged pores and promote cell turnover.

6. Avoid Touching Your Face

Reduce Contamination: Keep your hands away from your face to prevent the transfer of bacteria and oils that can cause breakouts. This has been one of my regular causes for breakouts.

7. Healthy Diet and Hydration

Diet: Maintain a balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Avoid excessive sugar and dairy intake, which can sometimes exacerbate breakouts.

Hydration: Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated and help flush out toxins. Bro YOU WILL SHINE FROM INSIDE. BE HARD ON YOURSELF IN CASE OF WATER!

8. Manage Stress

Stress Reduction: Practice stress-relief techniques like yoga, meditation, or regular exercise to help reduce stress-related breakouts.

9. Consult a Dermatologist

Professional Advice: If over-the-counter products don’t work, consider consulting a dermatologist for prescription treatments or procedures like chemical peels or laser therapy.

10. Avoid Harsh Products

Gentle Formulations: Use products that are free of alcohol, fragrances, and other irritants that can exacerbate breakouts.

Additional Tips:

Regularly Change Pillowcases: Wash pillowcases frequently to prevent the accumulation of bacteria and oil.

Clean Your Phone Screen: Disinfect your phone screen regularly to avoid transferring bacteria to your face.

I promise, even if not totally, but if you maintain the factors I mentioned above THINGS WILL SURELY GET A LOT BETTER!!! You’re welcome!!

CONSISTENCY IS THE KEY!
